How do I report a Seller or Product?

We take all violations of our Zmiza Community Policies seriously. If you encounter situations which are potentially violating our policy, please report it immediately.

You can report a seller by doing the following:

1. In Lazada app, go to the seller store page.

2. Tap on the icon on the top right corner.

 

3. Tap “Report”

4. Select the situation that you’ve encountered

 

5. Provide elaboration and upload screenshots (if any) to allow us to understand and assist in the investigation better. Tap “Submit” once the details have been filled.

 

Similarly, you can also report a specific product that infringes our policies by visiting the product listing page and follow the steps as above.

Lazada will follow up with the necessary investigation. We may reach out to you if we require further evidence. Please note that we will not disclose to any party regarding the actions taken.

Buyers who do not adhere toZmiza Community Policies may also be subjected to consequences such as: limited use of the engagement features and/or freezing of buyer account.

A. What can’t be sold onZmiza?

1) Prohibited and Controlled Products. Examples include (but not limited to):

Offensive materials and information detrimental to National Security, adult materials, firearms and munitions, human parts, remains and protected flora and fauna, illicit drugs, precursors and drug paraphernalia, illegal services and controlled products.

2) Counterfeits

Product contains words or logos that are identical or similar to a trademark without the authorization of the trademark owner. A trademark can comprise words, logos or a combination of word and logo, and when found on a product may confuse buyers into thinking that the product originates from a brand, when in actual fact it does not. Below are common questions asked relating to counterfeits:

Are refurbished sets considered as counterfeits?

Refurbished sets are not considered counterfeits. These products are usually not brand new but are reconditioned as new for sale. For example: Refurbished machines in particular mobile handsets have valid IMEI, but might have already expired. These machines are traded to dealers who clean and replace parts to restore the handsets. Such a situation falls under product issues if the product listing does not explicitly indicate that this item is a refurbished product.

Please report any such potential situation by citing product quality issues – Actual product has been misclassified or misrepresented and contact Customer Care for further support. Potential situations also include products that do not function as stated on the product details page, or do not meet reasonable expectations of how the product should function.

Are products with quality issues, item not as described or material not as described considered counterfeits?

Poor product quality, item not as described or material not as described are not considered counterfeits. Such situations fall under product issues. Please report any such potential situation by citing product quality issues and contact Customer Care for further support.

Examples include (not exhaustive):

Damaged or defective: New shoes that have soles detaching, delaminating or broken heel within days of usage.

Item not as described: Ordered blood orange but other variations

Product material misclassified or misrepresented: Ordered 100% cotton, received 50% cotton, 50% polyester

B. What are the violating seller behaviors that should be reported to Zmiza?

1)Providing illegal or restricted items

Observed sellers listing products or services which are prohibited and/or controlled.

2) Fraud – Loss of property/ money by buyer

Failed to receive goods and/or services after payment, sold/ returned or repaired item got lost or scammed by party impersonating to be Zmiza Customer Care team

3) Empty package

Received empty package or delivery of cloth scraps, rocks, wood pieces which are abnormal

4) Customer information abuse

Unsolicited approach with potential leak of personal and order transaction information; for example: buyers received unknown parcels under their name and address with items that they did not order

5) Harassment or abuse by sellers

Subjected to harassment, or verbal abuse via Instant Messaging, phone calls or messaging.

6) Posting of sensitive content

Observed sellers posting or sharing inappropriate contents in any form such as nudity, sexually explicit, violent and/or unpleasant images and descriptions.

7) Potential fake transactions

Fake transactions refer to the act of creating orders that do not involve the exchange of goods or services with funds between the buyer and the seller. Such sellers may create multiple fake transactions to manipulate seller data to deceitfully inflat
